About LiveNapalm

I am Chris Fahey — a software engineer and the photographer behind LiveNapalm.

I have been photographing concerts since 2023, and editing the RAW photos using Darktable to create distinct and candid captures of energy in the moment. I shoot using a Canon R6 mark II and a Canon M50, paired with wide-aperture prime lenses.

This site is built from the ground up using modern web technology to showcase high-resolution photography. The site is built with Next.js 15 and React 19, leveraging TypeScript for type safety and TailwindCSS for responsive design. It is statically generated for Cloudflare Pages, uses a custom markdown-based content system, and currently serves gallery images from my Flickr albums while I migrate long-term photo hosting. The codebase follows modern best practices including component-based architecture, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards. I'm building it in public to demonstrate my skills and continue growing as an engineer.
